I am torn in the middle of a game

Whether or not ...is an imposing one.

Hungering to express how much I would like for you to stay,

And ...

Needing to respect the decision for you to stay away...

The futility in trying to hold onto something that never had been,

And ..

Desperately wanting to fix what could have been.

Do I look at this chapter as a lesson to keep till the end,

And...

Do I lament on its inconclusiveness?

Having been a novice to a master who taught, but the pupil unreceptive,

And...

Two desolate stray souls invariably crossing paths.

Overwhelmed with thoughts of other dimensions,

And...

Overpowered by this boundless capacities.

Feeling foolish for having invested in the intangible,

And...

Not questioning the authenticity of soul connections.

Days when I feel determined to not open the chapter,

And...

Days when I am longing for the bygones.

To laugh at my own dim wittedness,

And...

To revel at the marvelous design.

Awareness of freedom that you possess,

And...

Admiration for the taste of it.

I am a coward, with a wishful thinking to live.

And ..

You ...poised and strong, attitude to take on the world with refinement.
